Has anyone supped any of these yet?
(info from the Fuller's site)

Red Fox - a star of the 2004 Festival. Tawny red in colour and brewed with toasted oats Red Fox has a deliciously biscuity flavour and mellow aftertaste.

Mr Harry - This deliciously nutty, rich and warming ale is deep amber in colour and packed with subtle raisin and caramel flavours.

not available yet:

Finally from mid October, a special Trafalgar Ale will be available to coincide with the bicentenary of Nelson's famous victory at the battle of Trafalgar.

I have had them both, but not very recently and in bottles. Needless to say, they were lacking in character (as do most filtered and pasteurised bottled english bitters). I'm going to have a look around for them on tap, though. Maybe next week on Thursday night.

I am constantly amazed at the almighty chasm in quality between keg and/or bottled (bc or not) ale and cask. Obviously I expect some difference but the extreme degree always surprises me. There are hundreds of cask ales I readliy embrace, a many I'd crawl on hands and knees to get, but there's a scant handful of bottles that I think are worth my time (bc or not) and a very limited number of kegged beers.

I can't think of any keg beers that I'd bother with. But there are plenty of bottled beers - mainly BCAs that - I'd be happy to drink even in a pub where there's a cask alternative. I always have Fuller's 1845, Young's SLA, Coniston Bluebird and Hopback Summer Lightning in my fridge. Indeed, I have just had a couple of 1845s before writing this, my final posting before bed.

Fuller's Red Fox is grand drink - they have it right now in The Victoria and I sampled a few pints of it last week and will do so again next week.
