Just got this e-mail from a friend. It's a hurricane benefit in Federal Hill (Baltimore):

* ALL-INCLUSIVE TRIP TO OMMEGANG BREWERY, INCLUDING HOTEL AND BREW TOUR!
* 3 LITER BOTTLE OF DUVELL!
* VINTAGE THOMAS HARDY'S!
* MANY, MANY, MANY MORE ITEMS!

Join us this Saturday as Sean Bolans Irish Pub focuses on the victims of Hurricane Katrina. From noon until 5 p.m. at the pub we'll be hosting a Vintage Beer Auction. Have you ever wondered why pub owners and beer writers have vintage beers that you can't get??? Wonder no more! Now is your chance to obtain some rare beers while benefiting a noble cause. These beers have been donated from the private cellars and collections of national bar and restaurant owners including myself. The response for donations has been overwhelming. Items are coming in daily by the hour. We'll be auctioning rare beers, a getaway for 2 people to a fantastic brewery, barware and much, much more. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of the hurricane. Also, a portion of all proceeds purchased this Saturday from noon - 5 p.m. will be donated to the cause. Come out to support our neighbors down south and enjoy a great afternoon with some friends. PLEASE forward this email to everyone you know in the beer world. There will be something for everyone.
