I may be able to get a dozen cases, or so, of FRESH Maisel's Hefe, Krystal, and Dunkel within the month...

I couldn't find the Dunkel rated on Beer Advocate anywhere. Anyone else have a link to more information about it? Sounds pretty good.... :)

I think there are two Maisel breweries. Relatives I think. I've been to Bayreuth, drank several of the beers, and visited the Opera house made famous by Wagner.

You are correct...the original brauerei on Hindenburgstrasse in Bayreuth is still managed by Andreas Maisel and the core family line. I believe his cousin operates the smaller concern in Magdesburg.

I'm sourcing through contacts directly from Bayreuth.

As for Wagner (and Franz Liszt), I have only seen pictures of their final resting places, but am hoping to remedy that soon enough.
