I've had Beer ice cream, beer milkshakes, and tomato soup spice cake - so why not? :)

Did anyone attend this event? How was the Loose Cannon?

Not beer-related, but I had tabasco ice cream at a trade show a few years ago. It was delicious - sweet at first, but it left a slow burn in your throat after it went down.

Oh MAN - what a great idea! I'll have to look for a recipe for it - we got LOTS of hot sauce around here. Turns out there are a lot more flavors that work well with ice cream that we never considered before.

Drinking an Aldaris Porteris right now - could be the sweetest beer I've ever had. Tastes like fermented Malta Goya - and to me, this is a good thing! :)

That sounds interesting. Is it going to appear on the open market?

You get plenty of nice perks being in the business. ;)

Do distributors give you beer advertising for your store? Neons? lighted signs? stuff like that?

The tomato leaf pesto would concern me; tomatos are a member of the nightshade family and the leaves contain a toxic alkaloid. (The NIH database says a human would have to eat large quantities to be affected, but everyone's different.)
