Come join the Brew School: Pub Crawl. This is a fun, safe, and enjoyable way for residents of the greater Los Angeles-area to come together and visit several pubs/alehouses in town to sample an assortment of delicious beers.

The inaugural Brew School field trip will kick off Saturday, October 1st, 2005 at 11:00am. The school bus will depart from Structure 2 Parking (1235 2nd Street, Santa Monica). All day parking is available for $7.00. The tour will arrive back in Santa Monica around 6:00pm.

Brew School will visit the following participating alehouses/pubs: Barney's Beanery, Naja’s Place, The Otheroom, and the Westwood Brewing Company.

To maximize time and full enjoyment of the field trip, we will stay at each pub/alehouse for exactly one (1) hour. Each Brew Tour participant will also receive a Brew Score Card, which will assist in keeping track of beer samples, logging notes, and a fun way to rate the brews. We are in the process of arranging beer specials at select pubs.

For just $25 per person, the Brew School is the most inexpensive lesson of the brew-kind in Los Angeles. Note: Price DOES NOT include drinks at pubs. In order to participate in Brew School: Pub Crawl, each participant will be asked to sign a liability release waiver before boarding the bus.

Father's Office is good... but a madhouse. A bus load of people would wait 2 hours to get a beer. No love here. Library Alehouse is one of my favorites... but that'll be for Pub Crawl #2.

Naja's... well... is insane. :)

Hope you can join us.

Again, tried to access the web page indicated and was given some web page creator. Cannot get to the Tour page. Naja's is my second home.

One more thing:

The pub crawl begins at 11:30am (not 11:00am).

We're putting together a suprise for the bus that everyone is sure to enjoy. :)

Check out the website for all the updates.

O.K. I looked at the Socal tour. How about adding Alesmith?? Are there gonna be enough people to make it. My buddy and I are really thinking of going. What's the policy on ice chests on the bus??

Hey... Thanks for your interest.

We're stilling trying to more folks for the tour... we'll know if all systems are go by mid-next week.

AleSmith was on the list... but they are only willing to do tours on Fridays... which doesn't really work. They're a must at future tours.

You should hit the pub crawl tomorrow... I have a feeling it'll be a damn good time.

I would but, since Naja's is my second home I decided to pass. As for the North San Diego brewery tour -- THAT'S tempting. Unfortunately my friend is not as reliable as I would like ( even though I've known him for 27 years ) and I am not sure if I want to give him too much love. So as of now I really want to go but until I pay it will be iffy. Any word on liquids on the bus??

P.S. AleSmith has tours only on Fri????? Gotta get better connections. I used to know somebody but.............

Have a feeling family matters will squash my desire. I am very bummed ( see Hopjack ). Heard you'all showed up at Naja's on Sat. I missed ya by a few hours. He said ya didn't stay too long. Wish I coulda been there. Oh well.
