This from Jason Oliver Brewer at Gordon Biersch:
Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant in Washington, DC will be having its Fest
Bier tapping party next Thursday the 22nd starting 5:30-6:00 ish. The GB
Fest Bier differs from our year round Marzen in that the Fest Bier is
slightly paler, drier, and unfiltered. Our house Marzen is more of a
traditional Oktoberfest beer, while our Fest Bier is more contemporary in
style. In addition to tapping our Fest Bier we will also be tapping our
Fall Bock, a new beer to GB and part of the Brewers Select Program. The
Fall bock is deep red hued, medium to full bodied with a smooth, malty
finish that goes down very easy for 7% abv. Enjoy Oktoberfest season with a
traditional Marzen, a Fest Bier, or a Fall Bock here at GBDC.
Our Tyson's Corner Gordon Biersch will open its doors on September 30th and
is located in the new extension at Tyson's One Mall.
