Who's Going to the Great Amercian Beer Festival?

Hi all,

My husband, sister-in-law and myself are attending the GABF for the first time this year. We're doing the Friday night tasting.
Is anyone else going? Does anyone have any helpful suggestions or hints about attending this event? Have you attended before, did you like it? Love it? Hate it?
Anyone want to hook up for some beer converstaion that weekend with some folks from the Midwest? (My sis-in-law is single... :-) Don't tell her I wrote this.... )

Would you believe that I'm not going to get to go AGAIN this year? Too many other priorities again... but I WILL say that for anyone who wants to go hang somewhere afterwards, I'm playing at Elway's (again!) that very weekend, 7-11 Thu., 7-12 Fri. and Sat. It's less than 10 minutes from the GABF - just take Speer SE (away from I-25), watch for the Denver Country Club on your right, cross University, and turn right into the 1st parking lot. I'll be the shaggy four-eyed bassist. Hope to meet some of you! :)

I'm going Saturday. Drawbacks, I've heard, is that some popular beers are all gone. Plusses are, don't have to work the next day (unlike Thurs) and, Friday can be a little full of the I'm-gonna-drink-til-I-puke-to-make-this-worth-the-money types

Hmmm.... good to know about the drunkards on Friday. We already have our tix. We decided on Friday because we didn't want to fly on Sunday with a possible hang over. We wanted that extra day to recover. :-)
