Clark's Ale House, a staple of fine beer in Syr., held a real ale event today. here are the beers that were available on this fine Sunday in central NY.
Magic Hat's Braggot Ale. It is brewed with honey as 50% of it's fermentable sugars.
Brooklyn Brewery Bitter. A beer not standard in thier line up. Very tasty.
Blue Point from LI had their stout there.
Flyin Bison sent Aviator Red and Oatmeal Stout.
Southern Tier's Phin&Matt's Extraordinary Ale.
Sackets Harbor Pale Ale.
Custom Brew Crafters Hop Harvest Ale.
Adnams Bitter
Our owm Middle Ages had four. IPA, Beast Bitter, Dragonslayer Stout, and thier Tenth Anniversay Ale.
There was a surprise offering from Canada. It was terrbile. My buddy who set up this affair did not know what it was. It tasted liked dry hopped malt water. My friend dumped his after one small sip as did I.
I had all these beers and enjoyed all but the aforementioned bomb. I am looking forward to next year.
