What is your most trusted, can't do without, printed or digital resource?
I have a pretty good library built up so far. But I was wondering what everyone else was useing.

For years I only used Papazian’s book, but I am finding it a little out of date, as the technology available to the home brewer is much better now, and liquid yeasts aren’t even mentioned in it. However, for basic recipe formulation I still think it is one of the best resources out there!
Just this weekend I bought the book the Brewmaster’s bible by Snyder, and find it very informative with a lot of new recipe ideas, plus it is a little more modern. However, I think Papazian’s book is better for new brewers as it is written more conversationally, and has lots of pictures demonstrating techniques. I bought this more for the recipe ideas than for the brewing information.
I also get BYO magazine (3 issues) and have enjoyed it so far. The clone recipes they formulate by talking to the brewery are great. Their online resources are very good as well.
The Wyeast and Whitelabs websites are good resources on yeast info.
And of course this discussion group for getting others advice and ideas.
That is pretty much about it for me!

I, too, have Papazians book, as well as the Brewmasters Bible.
I agree with you on both, but I also like the recipe tables, they help a great deal in the formulation of your own. They give you the base for the style and you can work from there.
I also have Millers book and the Seven Barrel Brewery book, too. Another big helper is Papazians Home Brew Companion. All are wealths of information.
I also have a wide range of recipe books. These give me a large base to work from in formulating my own favorites.
Thanks for the reply. Anyone else?

Pap's book is almost the universal starting point. I refer to Dave Miller's Homebrewing Guide fairly oftern.
Once you get a good grasp of how things work then go and buy a copy of "Designing Great Beers" by Ray Daniels. This book is jammed full of information.
