OK - I've viewed this while bottle on the shelves for many visits to the beer store and have been wanting to try it. Obviously its Belgium (at least I think so) but what "kind" of Belgium? Is it worth the money or is the Pink Elephant just good marketing?

You're looking at a Belgian triple. ABV is up around 8.5%. Many compare it to (and prefer) the Delirium Tremens.

It had a reddish brown color and, like many Belgians, you'll notice a sweet/spicy/fruity aroma and taste. Finished smooth. Been a while since I had it last, so this is just off the top of my head.

Better choices are out there, but if the selection is limited and the price is right, I'd say go for it and have fun experimenting.

This is a Belgium Dark Ale, The body has flavors of raisins, bitter sweet chocolate and anice. The finish is long and hoppy. 3 different yeast,and 5 malts make up this bad boy.

Both good beers although I prefer the Nocturnum. :cool:
