Can the moderator please tell us why some of the briansbelly posts have been deleted while there are still plenty of pintshop posts all over the place, in the wrong slot, blatantly advertising their overly expen$ive product and irritating most of us? I'm sure there's a good reason; it just hasn't hit me yet...

Nope, there was no good reason. As steveh noted in one of the threads that pintshop spammed it is good to use "report this post to a moderator (to the right and at the bottom of all posts).

In this case, one member did just that. However, I was gone a few days and am just now catching up on email.

For the record, deleting all the pintpost posts meant also eliminating the rest of those threads, because he started all of them.

Thanks to those of you who responded and reported. We'll try not to let it happen again.
