Just picking people's brains to find out their favorites. Two of mine would have to be:
1) Homer Simpson: "To beer, the cause of, and solution to all of life's problems."
2) Strange Brew: When the McKenzie bros are dumping the dog food beer into the glass to give to their father.... CLASSIC!

Although it's about the most lame portrayal of the title character, Costner's Robin Hood has a great supporting cast - including Michael McShane in a very beer-geek roll as Friar Tuck. It's a great scene where he starts explaining the wonder of brewing to a few of the Merry Men of Sherwood Forrest.
Of course, there's the brawl scene between John Wayne and Victor McLaglen in The Quiet Man - where they take a break for a quaff of "the porter."

How about in 'Canadan Bacon', when they are at a hockey game and John Candy shouts out that Canadian beer sucks? The arena goes silent, then a major brawl starts, including players, fans and vendors. It was only the preclude to declaring war on Canada.

In "Dumb and Dumber" - no not urinating their beer into empty bottles while driving down the road. But I do respect the extreme beer burb let loose by Jim Carrey while sitting at the bar waiting for his woman.

In the Big Lebowski (BEST MOVIE EVER) when Walter brings his ex-wife's dog to the bowling alley and the Dude gives him poop for it.
"I didn't bring the f*cking dog bowling. It's not taking your turn, I didn't rent it shoes, I'm not buying it a f*cking beer..."
OR in Baseketball, at the beginning where Trey Parker and Matt Stone's characters are standing on the front porch of a highschool reunion part. The girl's dad answers the door.
"Hi, we're here for the party. We graduated with Brittney."
Dad: "My god, you graduated?"
"Of course we graduated, cock. Beer?"

Mine is from Mrs. Doubtfire. They are in the kitchen talking, Doubtfire and the ex wife, and Doubtfire says it was drink that killed her husband. The ex asks if he was a problem drinker and Doubtfire answers that he was run over by Guniess truck.

"The Drew Carey Show" Not only does he have a pub system set up in his garage, you never see them drinking cheap beer. In several episodes you can see them sitting around the kitchen table drinking Great Lakes Brewing Burning River Pale Ale. I don't think I could pick out a single episode or line that makes it funny, but the show itself is a riot, and beer plays a big part of the show.

brewmonkey, like the new moniker. Never knew a Grunt who wasn't. :D
This one is pretty obscure, but there was a stand up comedian on Showtime last week who's act revolved around telling stories about people he's met at bars. He has a little bar off to the side, and every 5-10 minutes he walks over, and a "bartender" pours him a pint of Guiness, which he drinks as he continues his stand up. So he's downing a Guiness every 5-10 minutes, and about 5 beers in, he's getting bombed, and he just keeps drinking. I lost count of how many he had... Funny stuff.
How about the Simpsons Episode where Bart, for an April fools joke, takes a can of Homer's beer and puts it on a paint shaker. When Homer opens the can of beer the roof blows off the house and Homer is put into a coma.
Overall the Simpsons have a good many beer moments. Although I think they are drinking what could be considered crappy beer (Duff) it is still a great show.
By the way, anybody ever have a Duff beer when it was available in Australia? Just wondering what it tasted like.

Kudos on cdn Bacon - but I vote for the next scene when an arrested fighter from the crowd at the hockey game says on a news interview - live - that "all I said is Canadian Beer Sucks" and the mountie who has detained him and put him in handcuffs - smacks him in the head and starts another brawl

Colm Meaney's pint at the end of "The Snapper" is one of the most richly-deserved beers in movies.
Not directly about beer, but I love this dialog from "Arthur":
Arthur's fiance: "A real woman could stop you from drinking."
Arthur: "It would have to be a real big woman."

I like that scene in The Snapper. "Big for a Baby, Small for a Turkey"...:)
Macro imbibers, i'm sure, but:
Norm on Cheers had many memorable quotes.
One of my favorites:
-"Can I pour you a beer Mr. Peterson?"
+"A little early isn't it, Woody?"
-"For a beer?"
+"No, for stupid questions."
And the many different ways Oscar Madison handled a beer
created some classic TV moments...

Any David Lynch fans out there? In the movie 'Blue Velvet' (which is quite odd, but very good) Dennis Hopper's character has several memorable (if profanity-laden) quotes about beer.
Frank - > What kind of beer do you like?
?? -> Heineken.
Frank -> Heineken?!? f*** that s***!!! PABST BLUE RIBBON!!!

The whole Wasted Talent episode of Family Guy.
A takeoff on Willy Wonka at the local brewery. Plus it turns out Peter can play the piano when he is drunk, so Lois feeds him beers so he can win a competition
Lois: Oh, my God! You can only play the piano when you're drunk!
Peter: Now that's not true! I can also vomit, fall down and make dirty calls to your sister when I'm drunk!

Animal house has got to be the best beer movie ever.
TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!
Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.
I am going to have to watch that again, to quantify how little time that movie does not show beer. And lets not forget gratuitous boobies.

How about after they trash Flounder's car and Bluto is trying to cheer him up by breaking bottles and smashing cans against his head?

So many funny beer moments, including a few good jokes in Captain Ron, but the best has gotta be Strange Brew at the end when they say they will drive the truck of beer. And the one brother (can never keep them straight) says :"I won't crash this, it's a BEER truck, eh?"
I think of that every time I pack a growler on my motorcycle. "Whew, I'll make it home. I won't crash this, it's a BEER bike, eh?"

I love it in Captain Ron when the Captain and the kid are playing monopoly and Captain Ron comes back from saving the Harveys from being locked in the shower.
the kid asks, so what's going on.
Captain Ron says, they're playing hide the salami in the shower.
and the kid shoots beer out his nose.

I saw it too. His name is Paul F. Tompkins and he now has a feature bit on Bill Maher's new HBO show.
