I've already picked up my copy but I would recommend Lew's new book on the Mid Atlantic region to everyone. It is as good as his PA and NY books and would be invaluable for those traveling in our region. Here is a DC Beer post from Volker at Brewers Art about this weekends book signings in the Baltimore area:

OK, Lew is too humble to mention this himself, but I am not beyond
some shameless self-promotion.

On Saturday, Lew Bryson is doing not one but two book signings in the
Metro Baltimore area.

In the afternoon, he will be doing a book signing at Clipper City
down in Linthicum from 1 to 3.

In the early evening, he will be signing books here at The Brewer's
Art. Drop by around 4:30 to 5 to meet Lew and get a signed copy of
his latest book,
Virginia, Maryland, & Delaware Breweries
if you have not done so already.

Lew should be well known to all fans of malt beverages and spirits.
If you live in this area and are not familiar with Lew or his
writings, you have been living like Ted Kaczynski.

Cheers,

I just looked at the Brewer's Art website, thanks to this post. They have a Japanese Stout on tap. Never heard of such a thing. Anyone try this before?

This is what I posted about Lew's books over on DCBeer:

I've got all three of his books and heartily recommend them. Before I travel, I check his website for updates and I'm good to go. I only received the Mid Atlantic book late last week and have only had a chance to peruse portions of it. Looks to be of the usual high standard set by the PA and NY books. I like the fact that he shows the entire state map in full and shows where in the state the brewery is located. That really helps when you are traveling through a region and want to know what is nearby. Other guides just give the brewery info and you have to guess whether one is in the area that you are traveling through. His books remind me of the old ON TAP guides from the 80s and early 90s. However Lew’s books are more detailed and provide good insight and useful information. Way to go Lew!
