OK, my turn to bitch and vent. In Utah, you can only purchase 3.2% beer, unless you want to go to the State Liquor Store and pay from $1.50 to $3.00 a beer!!! And to really piss in your brew, kegs are illegal!!! (Except for homebrewers...) now you know why I homebrew. If I want real beer, I'll save up and have friends chip in and we'll make a "bootleg beer run" to get real beer from Wyoming, Idaho or Nevada...

Good Lord, another reason to never move to Utah... ;)

Many of us like to trade. If you do have a few local craft beers I'm certain folks here would be interested. What beers can you get?

:p My favorite local micro-brewery is Squatter's Brew Pub. They make some great beers. My fave is their Heffeweisen, the also have Provo Girl (It's their craft version of St. Pauly's Girl...) and then Full Suspension Ale, A wicked stout (forget the name) and an excellent Vienna Lager. There is also a micro-brewery up in Park City Utah, called "Wasatch Brewery". They make a great porter called, "Polygamy Porter!" (a little Utah humor.) Their slogan is, "Why have just one?"

I had some of the Wasatch beers. They are indeed good. Are they available in bottle in your area?

Ah Squatters. Went to SLC back in 95 and we were told that there was no place in town to sit and drink a good beer. We got to our hotel, put our stuff down, and took a walk. Literally went around the corner and what do we see... a big ole sign that says Brewery. Wooohooo. My buddy and I had a blast. Still can't believe it was only 3.2%. We musta had more than I remember.

 Micro-brews can be around 4% here... Still weak, but Squatter's make some real tasty beers.
