i was able to get 1 750 ml bottle of the 120, but im not sure when i am going to open it. if i remember it was $18-20, not terrible considering. i dont thnk that it is available anymore, and am not sure when they will brew another batch. an interesting note is that i heard a rumor that this beer was a bit of a mistake. the 60 min is 6.0% abv, 60 ibu and boiled for 60 min, the 90 is 9.0% abv, 90 ibu , and boiled for 90 min, the 120 is 120 ibu, boilied for 120 min, but 20-21 % abv (not 12.0 like was expected). i have heard (and none of this maybe true) that they were experimenting with a hybrid super attenuating yeast that apparently worked a little to well. they may try to sort this out before they brew again

Dogfish...all I have to say is mother fing good beer! I love their brews just wish their world wide stout came in a cork top rather than cap because it is just soooooooo strong, 23% abv I believe, to drink in one sitting.

On other sites, I get the impression some is still available. But it may be hard to find. 18-20 bucks is about right. If your west of the Mississippi, hang it up, your not gonna find it.

Dawg, your post gave me so much hope. I rushed to the Trader Joe's, but alas... they only carry the 60 minute.

:(

I'm still 120-less.

Hopjack:

I still have quite a few of the Westvleteren 12, and am definately willing to trade. I've had several, and none of them were bad bottles. I picked them up myself from the monestary on June 4th and took good care of them on the way home.

The Trader Joe's that had the 60 is in Pasadena. I picked some up but haven't tried it yet. I asked if they always carry it and the guy said no, but that he could always order it.

Let me know about that 120. I've been dyin' to try it.

sounds good i'll pm you.
i've tried the 60min it was pretty good but i like my arrogant bastard and ruination better, it's the 90min and 120 im after.
i had a trade for the 90min set up but it fell short . i'll get some soon enough through. i also have aquired achel, and westmalle double should be on it's way soon as well. only one left (as far as trappist) for me is the westvleteren 12 , i hear it's the best.
once i obtain that i'll be over my trappist kick and will have sampled them all. WOOO WHOOO!!! who knows what'll be my next kick???? i think i need to try a few more of the orval's though as i don't completely understand that one yet....yet:D

I've had some good Orvals, and some not so good ones. My wife won't try it again because she says the first bottle she tried tasted like bandaids. It was too cold though, so I keep trying to get her to try it closer to the intended temp. It's better, but certainly not my favorite among the Trappists.

There is still some 120 out there. I happened on a bottle in my local Whole Foods and it was priced 18.99. They also carry the 60 and 90. I was going to celler the 120 but who knows I may have to break down and try it.

it's okay though beer trading can be a beautiful thang at times like these!
