how many here love watching a football game to go with thier beer.....er...uh, BEERS!
i love foot ball and i love beer! put them both together and what do you get?
49ers (i know we've fallen from grace, but a fellow can still hope) and Alesmith Grand Crue work well for me, not really a session beer but if im going for distance...i'll say Bridgeport IPA is just right!
anyone else?

Another 9er fan. Atta boy. Although, you're right, its been pretty rough these last few years. As far as beer, er... beers, its whatever I have on tap at the moment. Right now its Calcutta 420 IPA from the brewery I'm now working at.

GO CHARGERS!

Last year when I said that people made fun of me.

You can still make fun of me, but won't hurt as much after a 12-4 season.

I usually drink whatever I have on tap, but for the first couple months of the season I'll have to rely on bottles of Bridgeport IPA, since I have an oktoberfest lagering in my kegerator right now.:D

hey, i got a kegorator too! it's just been dry for the last couple months, i run 2 five gallons. so im gunna get that hooked up real soon here. hey fid, way to go on the bridge port, you have good taste! like stod put it " atta boy!" and if tweek has a kegerator and we all have kegerators.....well.......then.......WE COULD THROW ONE HELL OF A SUPERBOWL PARTY!!!!!

Bridgport IPA was my favorite when I lived in Portland. So when the BevMo opened in Rancho Cucamonga I could have died. Now I spend between $50 and $100 a week there.

We've got enough kegerators in SoCal alone to throw a damn fine superbowl party. It will be that much better when the Chargers walk away for the season as the world champs! :p

I love when MLS and the EPL/SPL are in season at the same time. :D

Even though I'm a soccer diehard, if my father in law is watching the 'Skins or Maryland is playing I'll watch those, but I don't go out of my way to do so.

BTW there's been nothing like the last World Cup, having beers at 4am after a really good run by the US National Team. My neighbors (one of whom is Scottish and understands) thought we were crazy.

She's right.

Go Bills!!!!! Will be interesting to see how JP Losman pans out this year. Thier O-line still is a BIG question mark.

Will attend what is becoming my bi-annual OU vs whoever game at the Rose Bowl this year thanks to my in-laws wanting to see thier grandaughter. They are also hoping to make the trip out around new years day also. :D

Skins fan here. I've got two sean club seats and an orange parking pass to Fed Ex Field but can never seem to get to the games. I sometimes sit in the traffic on my home from the beach though. I usually give the tix to employees, clients or friends.

I suppose I am going to be laughed at if I say nothing is better than sitting down with a cold Iron City and watching the Steelers play 60 minutes of hardnose football. Mind you, I like good beer too...

I tried to choke down an IC from the new aluminum bottle (I think these bottles are way cool.) It had been years since I drank one. I poured the rest out after an initial couple of sips. I just couldn't do it. ;)

IN a bit of a quandry here... still refuse to root for the Seahawks, my favorite team for 20 years, yet can't think of a team I really have a passionate rooting interest for. Probably just as well; don't get time to watch football since I'm busy Sundays. Good thing hockey's going to be back this year... such as it is...

I suggest that you root for the Redskins like the rest of the world.

Unfortunatly that distinction actually belongs to either the Dallas Cowgirls or or the crimminal from Oakland.

Favorite teams are the ones playing either Miami or Dallas.:)

My neice used to work for the Packers. And my sister's family used to live a few houses away from Bill Curry back in the day. They are my second favorite team.

Football? Football. OH! Football, that crap that crowds the airwaves during the off-season.

Still, it's better than basketball.

I second the E-A-G-L-E-S!

I also second the being tired of TO (and Drew Rosenhaus.)

All we need is Brian Westbrook.

I can see it now... T.O. stays at home, the Eagles go 14-2, win home-field advantage for the playoffs, and subsequently vote Owens as their team MVP... :D

I'm still enjoying the summer sport!!

Bears may have had a chance to win 6 or 7 games until Friday night.

I was still enjoying the summer sport when the Tigers were still in the Wild Card race out by only 5 games. They have fallen big time and pretty much out of it. I really thought the White Sox was going to fold the second half of the season and the Twins would over take them. I guessed wrong.

I'm just plain still enjoying summer. I'm not ready for it to end. Even though I graduated about 30 years ago I still hate the back to school commercials.

We have four children going to school this year...all of whom need new shoes, backpacks, pens, pencils...yikes there goes my extra beer money! Anyone wishing to contribute to their education fund, let me know;)

I'm a packer backer. Even though I live closier to the colts. I have always loved the fact that the team is owned by the city so they will never leave.
