tried this french beer the other week it2 12% pale and very smooth look out for it

Belzebuth, a 13% abv brew, and I think from France started showing up in my favorite store. Haven't tried it yet.

I think I may have tried it, but it may have been one of the many other novelty beers named after hell, satan, demons, etc. Of the ones I have tried, most have been pretty poor (brewers sacrificing balance for high alcohol content). I wouldn't get your hopes up, so you might be pleasantly surprised (the way of the pessimist: isn't it great?).

Funny - most of the hot sauces that do the same are similarly underwhelming; they tend to go for heat at the expense of flavor.

(On the other side of the scale is this stuff called Religious Experience - if you see it, you gotta try it - you'll never be the same! :) )
