John Harvards DC

Does anyone know for sure if John Harvards is closing or just for sale in DC?

I remeber we got a notice at work a while back that they had filed for some form of bankruptcy/reorganization protection. I think the note said they intended to stay in business but maybe that meant the company in general and not the local shop. It's a shame they've made some decent beer, though to be fair I rarely get down there.

Chaz should be maybe buy some brewing fixtures for the Human Head and Bag of of Hammers Cask Beer Funland? I've got at least $50.00.

Any update on this?
Their web site (http://www.johnharvards.com/index.htm) indicates nothing amiss. They do a good job at their Long Island location.

Maybe it was just the Washington DC location. That location was where the defunct Dock Street Brewery was once situated.
