I'm thinking about going down to phoenix to see my dad and brother. Are there any beers/breweries/brewpubs worth checking in to?

The Sonora Tap House/The Brewers Den and Oggi’s won’t be open yet. When do you plan on coming down?

well, probably sometime between now and spring. Pretty vague, I know, but no concrete plans. I used to live out there, and Streets of New York was just a pizzeria, wing joint. When did they start brewing?

I believe it's been within the past 5 years. They have two brewrys here, one in Tempe and the other in Scottsdale. Oggi's (http://www.oggis.com/big2.html) place in Glendale won't be open till Summer '06 but their Scottsdale place is open now. With any luck Uwe will have the Sonora Tap House/The Brewers Den (http://www.sonorabrewhouse.com/) up and running by then.
