If anyone out there has had a glass of this wonderful beer, help me learn more about it. The barkeep at the Embassy Suites neer the Greensboro Airport said that the brewer doesn't bottle it and I've only seen it on draft.
Its a red ale with a mildy sweet-warm finish. I'd love to get my hands on the recipe if anybody has any ideas.
Thanks. If you see it on draft....drink it!

It's actually a lager. Apparently only one of 2 that they serve outside the brewpub, but it doesn't seem like they bottle anything.
You can find out more about the beers here (http://www.redoakbrewery.com/brewery/beers/)

The only unfiltered lager in America, huh? I guess they haven't heard of Victory's Kellerpils, or Dominion's Victory Amber or...

Did you try the Battlefield Black. It's good also.
Red Oak is in the process of building a new brewery.
Maybe they will bottle after its finished
Next time your in town, try Natty Greens downtown.
They brew their own beer.

I also think this site hasn't been updated in quite some time.
It's funny, on our recent trip to Savannah, my wife and I were joking how they really like their superlatives in the South. Every other Billboard claimed to be "The Best", "The Biggest" or "The Only" in the Country and/or the World!
No offense to our Southern members!

This is a nice beer - we usually make it to the brewpub when we're in Greensboro - a couple times a year.
