Just some informational reporting. First the bad news:

DC 1
Chelsea 2

We gave almost as good as we got but I think their $200m payroll was a bit much for our $2.2m salary cap. It was nice seeing our undrafted rookie center back (salary = $24,000/year) put one past 'em.

Now for the mostly bad news:

I'll take a Redhook or a Guiness then and one for the guy who shouted "Jose Mourinho is a Wanker" straight into the ESPN@ Microphone.

I've heard about that I'll have to go back and watch the video.

It's funny because it's true.

How to change this?

Maybe we can spread a rumor that the gods have cursed the Skins and they won't have a winning season until you can get a decent brew at the ballpark.

Then again, maybe it's not a rumor. The gods like their beer. But I can't see them paying twenty five bucks to park at the stadium and then have to drink BMC.

I own two season tix to Redskin club level seats. I have never been to Fed Ex field. I usually give them to employees, clients, family or friends. I liked RFK.

Not so sure this is a rumor at all ;)

Its about the same at Comerica Park when I went to see the Tigers play the Yanks July 1st. Bud, Bud Lite, Miller Lite, Labatt Blue. I would of loved to enjoy a beer at the game, but with those choices and $8.50 for a 24oz can NO Thanks.

Looks like we're spoiled out here in the Bay Area. You can get a number of great beers at Giants games.

Yeah this is why you come 3 hours early to the Redskins games and just sit in the parking lot tail gating with some very good beer. By the time I get to the stadium, Im full of very good beer and maybe sausages or chicken and feel no need to spend $15 for a cup of miller light and a couple bad hot dogs. I find paying $6 to stand in a line for 20 minutes and then being handed a cup of coors light or something is pretty much the perfect embodiment of the phrase adding insult to injury.

At least my club seats preclude you from having to wait in line. They wait on you and bring what you want.

Club level gives you better beer options too. I've been to several Monday Night/Sunday Night games. A few years back we splurged to get the club level.

Very different world than the cheap seats (for lack of a better term). If I recall correctly, I enjoyed Bass all night.

Maybe, I'll actually go to a game this year.

being a younger guy i am still fairly in touch with my juvenile delingquent memories, and because of this i must inform you all that my brother has season tickets and over the last several years has perfected the art of tailgating with a barbeque and a small keg for a few hours, then somehow walking into the stadium with 5-6 bottles concealed in his jeans, its just for those that are serious about their beer.

I was always able to smuggle in some decent beers to RFK.

I have always filled up on good brews while tailgating before the game, the idea of giving Danny Snider any more money makes me ill. I love the Skins but hate the owner, I may not go to any games this year, I am spending my sports money on the Nats.

Cheers to that one!

He's been keeping a pretty low profile so far during this year's pre-season. Only time will tell...

I've never seen the Skins nor the Wizards. Matter of fact I've never seen a live NFL or NBA game. Hockey, baseball, college gridiron and basketball, and several hundred soccer games both her and abroad. I've even been to the Masters. Funny aul' world or what.
