Any bloggers here?

I just set up mine and need a little help in putting items exactly where I want them.

I have been blogging for about a year and if you are using Blogger/Blogspot I can help you skin and set up your template.

Where is your blog at?

I think Student is a blogger as well. And our former member b3s does too.

I have a blog, although I don't update it nearly as often as I should.

I also have quite a bit of experience with PHP/mySQL (what most blogs seems to be written in), and also with HTML and CSS. If you are having some trouble with design or layout, I can probably help.

FWIW, I use wordpress, and my blog is at onefreevoice.com (http://blog.onefreevoice.com)

Yeah this is blogspot.com

Basically, I set up my template and a couple of pics in along with a counter and a guest sign-in.

I’m not sure how to put the guest sign-n where I want it. It ended up in a ‘post’ instead of just ‘on the side of the web page’ so I deleted it. I’m not trying to get to fancy but just have a nice one.

I also would like to have a personal banner at the top of the page. Not one to clicj on but just to look snazzy.

Thanks.

Hey... click on the "user cp" button above, and the click "edit profile" and where it says "homepage" put the address for your blog. Then people will see that little www under your post and can visit your blog.

I can do some quasi decent graphics, and can probably whip something of a banner up for you. Just let me know what you have in mind, and I'll see what I can do.

I suck with graphics so I cannot help you there. However I can help you with your template and getting what you want where it needs to be. However without a URL to the blog we cannot do much for you...

I'm not sure what's available. Just something cool and basic.

The blog is up now.

I would like to have a place where guests can sign in and have a few headings... kinda like yours, lol.

Well, not knowing you at all or what you like or dislike (besides fireworks at 1:00 am and best of collections), makes things a little tough.

I took the image you posted, and superimposed the 3 dots (blue green orange) from the top of your page and created the attached image.

If you could come up with more specific direction, I'm sure we could come up with something really nice.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I have a feeling I'll be sending you some beer! Lol.

Okay, let me think of something and we'll see what can be put together.

Thanks again.

Well since you are using Blogger click on the "Blogger" icon on the top left of your page (in the NAV BAR) and then click on "Change Settings" from there you should see another NAV BAR and "Comments". Click on comments and then check the "Show Comments" radio button. From there you can format the style with the options below that. I would suggest allowing the "pop-up" for comments as that is what people tend to prefer for commenting.

The other thing you can do is go to Halo Scan (www.haloscan.com) and create an account. You can plug in your username and password (they are trustworthy) and ckick on the auto setup feature they have. It will then log in to your account and add Halo Scan comments for you.
