Do you have any secret routes?

Under normal circumstances I just do 50 the whole way because I don't care but given how horrific the traffic is supposed to be I'm thinking of trying something else out. Obviously there's nothing can be done about the bridge, but post that I might get creative. I've done the 404 - 20 - 54 thing in the past.

I might try 404 - 313 - 348 - 54 - 346 - 90

Any other hot hints?

Rarely go that way myself, but one of the best tips I've heard is make sure you have an EZ Pass!

Keeping it "beer-related"... nicely done!

I sailed through on 50 last night. 3 hours from Centreville which is normal. I do have Easy Pass. Sometimes I go 404 and even branch off from that. When in in my car I can use GPS if I need to get around delays but usually take the wife's van which I did this weekend to bring down the kegerator. I picked up a sixtel of Old Dominions Victory Amber Lager. They were out of almost all their better brews. I had hoped for Pale Ale.

Sailed home last night as well. Left at 5:30 and was home by 8:20. I guess everyone was home for the fireworks. Took 50 all the way. Sorry we missed you at DFH and again Sunday evening. I think we put a serious dent in the Old Dominion Victory Amber Lager. I'm gonna bring up two more sixtels of different brews next weekend.

The Victory Amber Lager was all that they had left in sixtel besides Stouts and I think another un-summer like beer. It was not really what I had hoped for but it was tasty. It would be better in the fall. Commercial Description:
Victory Amber Lager: Orginally made to the specifications of Pat Patton, owner of Hero's Restaurant in Manassas, VA. Victory Amber is a soft, smoot tasting beer made with an ale-style recipe using lager fermenation and conditioning techniques with the following malts: Two-Row Pale, Munich, Carapils, and Caramel. Perle, Willamette, and English Kent Golden hops are used. The beer is unfiltered and the remaining yeast, high in Vitamin B, gives the beer its unique opalescent amber color.

DFH sells sixtels at their brewery and not the pub. And only on week days. I'd like to run some 60 minute.

Next time you go to DFH: 50-404-16-1. Annap. to Rehobeth in 1:35. As always, don't speed in the small towns.

I sometimes go 404 especially in the fall. Great farmers markets. But ever sice they opened up the bypass on 50 around Salisbury my trip to OC has been dramatically shorter. It usually take me right around 3 hours from my home in Centreville depending on stops. Rehobeth is 2 - 2 1/2.

I did the 404 - 113 - 20 - 54 and breezed there. For some reason there was no back up at the bridge or on 50 till I got off. Just lucky I guess. There was a small back up on 20 this morning but it wasn't bad.

Chaz, sorry we couldn't make it over, we got back late from the boat trip and we're too bushed to move. We didn't even make DFH at any point.

For the record Harpoon Hannah's does not have anything to drink. Oh, they had Sam Adams Summer on, but it was rank.
