For those of you in the Atlanta area, Sweetwater's summer ale has come out, titled "Summer Hummer" (yes, it's an awesome name). Apparently hard to get, I've heard that some stores are putting a 1-sixer-per-customer rule in effect, since it's leaving the shelves so quickly.
Sweetwater does distribute around the region, but they're only marketing Summer Hummer in Atlanta this year (unless they do another more larger run) to test the waters. I think after it's initial success it'll easily be in Birmingham and elsewhere next summer.
I managed to grab some when it first came out, and it is absolutely delicious. In my opinion, better than Sierra Nevada Summer and Anchor summer, and quite a bit better than Ommegang Witte. Same orange peel/coriander taste, but with a lot more body.
