Went out for a night mountain bike ride tonight with a friend. Its the first full moon of 2003 and we had a great time on the twisty tight trails of the Tapeworm in Renton, WA. There were just a few clouds out and they gave a misty quality to the view of the full moon. Kinda looked like some of those horror film shots. My friend had to bail afterwards but I went ahead and skooted down to the Dog & Pony Alehouse in Renton for a celebratory pint. I had a Dick's Grand Cru.
SWEET NECTAR OF THE GODS!
Great tasting beer outta Centralia, WA. Wish I didn't have to drive because I'd have like to had another.

I am a bit confused, and I don't know if I am thinking of Redmond or Renton, but one of those cities has a pub called the Celtic Bayou. I was there once almost a year ago, and they had one of the best beers I have ever stumbled upon. It was a nice surprise since I found the pub on accident. The beer was Connought Ranger IPA (not sure on the spelling) and I would give just about anything to have it again.
Anyway, the owner of the pub (I can't remember his name) was talking about bottling the beer. Would anyone know if that has actually happened?

Its in Redmond, right near Hwy 520. I'll have to stop in and ask the owner but I don't think they've done any bottling. I just as easily could be wrong though.

You'll need to drink two, because I'm reeeaaal thirsty. I'm planning a trip to the NW in May. Maybe I'll get to swing through Redmond.
Here's to hoping... (drinking a frsh pint of Rogue Brutal Bitter from the home tap)
