finally a brew pub opened in my area (15 mi. away) they have 16 beers on tap and over 60 in bottles. haven't seen a macro beer there yet. man i'm in heaven. before this place opened things were pretty bleak. now i can try several new beers 1 at a time. the pale ale they brew is a very good one. it was advertised as a pub in old english tradition. i don't know about that, but they do have a great selection of beers. so if your ever in alton, il. take the 15 mi. drive up the scenic river road and check it out

had a bottle of sam adams cream stout there last weekend. one of the seasonal beers. man i can't wait to get some more of that. i also have a pint of the house pale ale everytime i go there. it is great and i like supporting my new local brewer. i also found a new restaurant/pub in alton called big muddy and they also brew a decent ale. man this area is starting to get it:cool:

thanks chaz, i will check it out. hogie your right i went and looked on the empty 6er and it doesn't say seasonal, but the store said it was. good news for me, now i don't have to wait for the next season. thanks man
