As my pale ale chugs along happily in the fermenter, I am already thinking about my next brew. Today, I bought a 6-pack of Belhaven Scottish Ale. Oh my God, what a scrumptious brew! Is that some peat-smoked malt that I taste in there? I want to make a similarly malty brew like that. If anyone has a good all-grain recipe for Scottish Ale, please share. I want the ABV to be in the 6.5 to 7% range. Thanks!!

In the still immortal words of Tweek........
you may want to look at the following website database:

I recently brewed a scotch ale using peated malt. It's maturing now - should be ready in a week or so. If it's good I'll post the recipe.

Thanks, Eddy!! Please do so. I would really like to use a little peated malt in this one. Let me know!

I tried one of Arrogant Bastard's Smoked Porters a while ago, I had never really thought that it sounded very good, a little weird...I use alder wood to smoke turkeys and the last thing I would do with one is throw it into a beer....
But...It was really good! I was surprised. Definitely worth trying, it's on my list of "things to make"...
