Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the german purity law? Preferably in German. I have found internet copies in English, but I'm looking for a copy to frame and hang in my bar.
Thanks,
Mike

Have you checked with any brewerania shops or contacting your favorite German brewery if they have a copy?

There is an A4 facsimile (in German) at http://www.krombacher.de/infospresse/produkte/i/reinheit_a4.jpg

Unfortunately,
I miss spoke. I technically do not own a bar that can be patronized. I have one in my basement. Friends, family, and fellow beer drinkers alike are welcome. I do serve whatever I find that strikes my palate at the time. Right now I am enjoying a golden ale produced by River Horse for Hunterdon Brewing called Jersey Gold. Not the best, but certainly not bad.
I'm still checking with brewerania shops and German beer companies.
I definitely will check the forwarded link! (Thank you Mr. English!)
Support for Richard English is definitely appreciated.

a word of caution on that - if you post what a "real beer" is, you may have a hard time explaining to your friends that what they are drinking is NOT a "real beer!" :D

Ideed you may. But I consider that it is my bounden duty so to do - and so should you all.
If A-B can seduce so many with its ghastly advertising then we should all do our bit to counteract its effects!
