I made it into A1A Ale House. I had their A. Strange Stout and their porpoise pale ale.
When I inquired abut the stout, I was told it was a porter stout. I was offered a taste which I took. I then purchased a pint. It was very dark with little head from the pour. I tasted more like a porter than a stout. It was a thin to meduim body with a nice malt character. Overall a rather routine beer like steering a rebound to the stick side corner.
The pale ale was a nice surprise, like a golaie getting an assist for a goal. Meduim body with a thin head form the pour. A very nice hop character and taste. It is a good beer for after the activities of a warn FL day.
The best part was one of the grocery stores, Winn Dixie or Publix, expanded their selection of beer. They had Sams products, Newcastle and Anchor Steam which I purchased. Well, my wife did as I did not go shopping this trip.
I met a gent in A1A that claimed to be an owner of Prymaid Brewing. He talked much of thier wheat beer. I don't know if he was only gave me the his name as Bubba. He knew much of being able to buy a brewery, so he may have been or he was a broker of business, I don't know which.
