Well folks wish me luck...Im about to venture off and try myself a lambic! Im gonna make a Framboise for my wife. Any advise? I searched and did not read of any successful attempts...

get yourself a separate fermentation bucket and plastic hoses for your lambics, or you risk forever ruining subsequent batches.

i've not done any lambics, but that's what my club buddies that are huge lambic fans say...

(ok, ok, I've been known to tongue in cheek bash lambics as undrinkable, but on Tuesday we had a bottle of Duchesse, while not a true lambic, it's still a sour Flanders Red. it was simply amazing...)

Likewise, good luck. Oregon fruit puree is a good source for your raspberries. Have plenty of patience as well. Basically, start it and move on!

Thanx for all the good advise. I have some 5 year old whole leaf saaz hops that I have taken out and left in the attic of my garage. I think they are pretty much spent, so I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm gonna do an extract version I think. We will see.
