I really recommend this - its a great time and shows how Texas does have beer beyond the macros.

With more than 40 handcrafted beers on tap, the festival provides a unique opportunity to taste some of Texas' best beer.

Entrance to the festival is free. Beer tasting packages ($10.00) include a plastic tasting cup and 5 tasting tokens, which you redeem for beers at the brewers' tents. Additional tokens and souvenir festival glasses are available for purchase at the event.

I would definately drive over for that! You think they could move it back a week for me. I graduate that day (yes, I'm still in college). Too bad they MAKE you attend the ceremony.

I go every year (I usually post the location and time but I was beaten to it - thx beerdiablo). It's a great time.

I agree. The wife and I met up with FastEddy and his wife last year and had a blast. Gonna try and get back there this year. I plan on entering some beers in the homebrew contest again this year.
