I am new to this sanitizer. My question is this, after mixing with water @ ratio of 1oz/5gal (according to label)my equipment has a large amount of suds on it.It looks like dishsoap.I don't feel comfortable leaving all these suds on my equipment so I have been rinsing with hot water which defeats the purpose of a no-rinse sani.Should I dilute the mixture more?Or are these suds ok?

The suds are normal and okay.
Do a search for star-san and you'll find a pretty good discussion of it.

I generally leave mine sitting upside down until most of it drains, but residual suds are fine. If its a ton, i use a carboy brush to "pop" the large deposits, mostly for appearance's sake.

Those suds are definitely your friends!! Let as much drain out as possible, but you're not going to get all those suds out. I assure you, grasshopper, that those suds will not harm your beer's flavor, or the yeast, in any way whatsoever. You definitely don't want to rinse the suds away.

If u have a ridiculous amount of sudsing just don't aerate your solution so much when u mix it. I fill my bucket to about 4 and a half gallons before I add the star san.

I want a coating of sanitizer inside my carboy, but I'm not comfortable with the extra suds, so here's how I avoid suds in the carboy:
-Syphon the sanitizer into the carboy GENTLY, so that it's got maybe 1" of sanitizer in the bottom.
-Pick up the carboy and slowly spin it, working the sanitizer towards the neck, coating all the sides.
-When the sides are coated, I gently tip it neck down over the sanitizer tub, allowing the sanitizer to run out, taking care of the inside of the neck.
-Next I cap the carboy with some sanitized aluminum foil and tip it neck-down in a corner of the room resting on a towel. By the time I'm ready to use it, any lingering liquid is in the foil or on the towel and there is as little sanitizer as possible in the carboy itself.
Works great...
