Amber Ale vs. Red Ale??

What is the difference between a Red Ale and an Amber Ale?

for the most part, just the color, red ale will be "more" red than an amber, also, the different grains required to get a "red" ale will undoubtedly give the beer some distinct properties.
The nice thing about those midline beers is that there is so much flexibility in the style, you can really change it up alot to give a variety of flavors, colors, and what not.
