I will be in Las Vegas April 10-12 for business. Looking for Brewpubs and quality multi-tap bars to visit. I have already been to Hofbrauhaus and the Monte Carlo brewpub. Will not have a car, so I will be taking public transportation. Staying at the Paris hotel. I am a homebrewer, so anything along those lines would be great also. Do any casinos have bars with great beer lists? Thanks

The public transportation thing will severely cut into your drinking pleasures in Sin City, but you still have a couple of options. First, you could take a bus/cab downtown. This will give you your first two options - 777 Brewpub at Main Street Station, and Chicago Brewing Company's pub (non-Brewery) at the Four Queens. Your second option is take a bus/cab east from the strip on either Flamingo or Tropicana to Maryland Parkway. You're looking for the Freakin' Frog, across from UNLV, it's our only true beer bar, and not all that far from the Paris. All the casinos have lousy bars with nothing drinkable in them, unless you're into Amstel Light. There's a couple of really good brewpubs scattered across the town, but their all pretty far from the strip.
