Well I've lived in this town since feb '01, and I've only been here for one St. Patties day out of 4. Any suggestions on how to "properly" celibrate the holiday?

There's also a Bosco's there. I went to the one in Nashville and it was very good. I didn't eat there, but the food looked good too.

Vino's is a pretty cool place. Been a few years since I was there, but as I recall, the beers were really good. Good Pizza, too.

There's only three that I can think of: Bosco's (which has good beer, good food, and I've never really seen it busy.) Vino's (Good pizza, beer, and one of the best small venue music spot's.) and Diamond Bear (which is pretty much just a brewery, but you can get tanked on the tour. Try the Presidential IPA, it's not great but it's the only IPA I've seen from this state.). I guess I just check one of them out for the St. Pat's. If you come to Little Rock and you like Dive bars, you have to check out Midtown Billiards. It's open till 5am Mon-Sun. Not the best place for beer (although they offer 75 cent PBR on tap) but some of the best atmosphere and burgers in LR.

Where in Tennessee? There's a Blackstone's Restaurant in Gnashville that has really good inhouse beer. I think it's on Broadway west of downtown...

Yep, a couple of blocks past the interstate crossover, on the right as you head out. If you get to the park, you've gone too far. And the Bosco's Nashville isn't far from there, either.
And if you're going through Knoxville, I can let you know what's up down there.

We are going through Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and Gatlinburg..... I guess Boscos is in a couple of those huh?

There's a Boscos in Memphis. Also a Gordon-Biersch. Haven't been to either.
In Nashville, don't waste your time with Market Street, unless things have changed much in the past year. You could probably skip Big River, too, if time was tight. But the two mentioned upthread are solid.
Knoxville has Downtown Brewing in, uh, downtown Knoxville. Pretty easy to get to off the Interstate. I was there for lunch, enjoyed a decent meal and an IPA that was nice and citrusy-hoppy. The Calhoun's Restaurant group has around 4 stores in the Knoxvegas area, but only the one on Bearden Hill is a Microbrewery. German style beers from brewer Marty Velas. Nice beers. Unless there's a hoppy seasonal on, the hoppiest here is the pilsner, but it's a nice beer. Average food, good ribs.
Downtown also has a decent beer bar, Preservation Pub, in "Old Town". There's also a Barley's Pizza and Tap Room that has great pizza (a nice feat in that neck of the woods) and a nice selection of taps and bottles.
Over towards Gatlinburg, In Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Proper are the Calhoun's Smoky Mountain Breweries. I don't know about the one in PF, but the Gatlinburg One is tricky to find. It's behind the Calhoun's. Same basic lineup as the Calhoun's in Knoxville. Worth a stop, I think, if you're in the area.
Sounds like a cool trip!

I gotta say, though most of the Market Street offerings aren't worth the time of day, I really enjoyed their Oktoberfest 2 years ago. Good balance, and although it was a little on the light side, that was just fine with me. Pretty good stuff, and I was able to pick some up at Wild Oats for something like $8 a 12er. Plus, the bottles were perfect for homebrew and the labels slipped off like your favorite pair of slippers. :)

Can you give me any more details? What kind of beer do they have? I get to Little Rock every so often and might check it out.
