I just bought into a kegging system and had my first brew!

EXCELLENT!

The Beer: Dragnet Honey Maple Brown Ale

Story: Brewed as second runnings amped up with Maple syrup, honey, and LME. When I went out for Reverse Osmosis water at 230 am, I encountered a dragnet of state Troopers, Black Helicopters, and COPs. No kidding.

I thought this beer would be terrible. Low gravity. Improvised boosters from the fridge and cupboard.

With keg, smooth and mellow!

Cant wait to try out my Extra Strong English Style Bitter: Voyage Bitter!

Lazy is the key here. If we were a motivate group, we would be astrophysicists, not brewers. Cleaning bottles… yeah, I’m over it too. IMHO, homebrew tastes better on draft, but mostly because I didn’t have to bottle it…

What was up with the fuzz?

I have no idea what Fuzzy was...up to. But anyways...

As for astro physicists, well isnt RocketMan a rocket scientist?

Perhaps we are a motivated group after all!

We spend an awful lot of time thinking about what to brew.

We spend a lot of time in the kitchen or outdoors doing it.

And I can say that I am highly motivated to emty that keg so I can get my Extra Strong Bitter in it!

Damn! Glass is empty.

As a matter of fact...! I agree that ANY beer tastes better on draught! Even Belgians! Of course it may be hard to find Belgians in kegs around here, so I solved that by brewing my own!

Cheers! Rocket
