Does anyone have any advice on a rebottling issue I have.
I have a couple of 22oz. bottles that I would like to put into 12oz.
This is for the National Homebrew Contest and I do not have time to rebrew.

What will happen?
If i can without any major issues do i need to add any more suger for carbination?

I also have a Tap-a-draft that I can pull from if you think that would be better.
Thanks

I would suggest going from the tap a draft as you will have less problems with oxidation. Either way you stand a slight chance of losing some carbonation but if done right that will be minimum.

If you have CO2 available purge the bottles after you sani them and as you get ready to fill them. Try to fill the bottles with as little aeration as possible, so if you have a rig that can put the fill spout as close to the bottom of the bottle as you can get(think couter pressure filler) you will have better results. You should also cap on foam!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with BrewM....pull your brew from the Tap-a-Draft, and you will have a whole lot less to worry about concerning the risk of oxidizing your beer. Then get a cap on the bottle(s) ASAP!!!!!!!!!

Good luck in the contest!:)
