I have been bottling for quite some time now and am getting tired of the cleaning and hassels involved. The majority of posts I see here regarding kegging have to do with the 5 gal. cornelius force carbonation method. I can get a full 5 gal. corny system with C02 for $180 from my local brew shop or I can get a 1.33 gal. mini keg system for $90 that includes 4 of the 1.33 gal. mini kegs, dispenser and C02 cartridges. I guess the mini kegs condition just like bottles with priming sugar. has anyone had any luck with this set up?

Here is the link where I buy:

Sounds like a pretty good setup but any feedback or suggestions from your experience is appreciated.

I have started using a Party Pig....it seems pretty simple so far, a bit more costly due to the pressure pouch you have to buy every time, but I like the way everything works so far...

I have resorted to using 5L kegs. the kegs im referring to are recyclable ones, with a built in tap. I still use bulk priming iwth corn sugar in them, the tap sits about 1" from the bottom of the keg, so i just leave that beer or 2 behind. it works great for me, because i cant afford CO2.
No problems so far, i have bottled about 16 of these kegs so far. I can buy them for $0.25 at the redemption, and buy new bungs for $1.25 which fit the actual kegs that cost $10. (kegs that are made to receive either an air pump, or the co2 adapter (runs on the small co2 cartriges)
