I was recently cleaning out a closet in my house and I came across a six pack of Miller Clear Beer, unopened and in brand new condition....and yes I realize that most bottles of clear beer went unopened. What I was wondering, is this a collectible item and if so what might it be worth? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's just gotta be! Do you have a digital camera to take a pic of it? It'd be cool to have on this thread!

Welcome to the board... hope you stick around! :)

Welcome to the board. Nice to see another Virginian here. You could have taken that sixer to Fredericksburg this weekend for thr Annual Blue Gray breweriana show. Someone might have been interested. I suggest you list it on Ebay. I just listed some Miller junk I found in My own basement. A uniform patch for Miller High Life, A tap knob for Miller lite and a pub towel for Miller Amber Reserve. I figure I'd put em on and see if they generate any action. If not, I'll donate them to the raffle bin for next years Blue Gray.

Here's the photo you requested. Kind of hard to see the "Clear Beer" due to flash on camera. Thanks for the replies so far.

Wow! Great pic.

Do the bottles actually look like they're holding water? Like you said, the flash makes it a little odd, almost like you can see amber coloring in the bottle somewhere.

Something you don't see every day - very cool!

There actually is a slight amber color to the beer. I don't remember what it looked like 10 years ago when it got entombed in the closet. There are still bubbles inside when you tilt the bottle however.

I remember when this came out. It was test marketed in Richmond, like so many other beer products.

Did you try it? What was it like? I'm sure nothing spectacular....

Yes, I had one bottle. I don't recall the taste but I remember filling the bottle with water and pouring it for a buddy as a gag.

I'm sure it tasted better than the original contents did, eh? :)

I think the original contents were a gag of a different sort.
