Someone told me the other day a few places in So. Cal where they do this... don't know how valid the info is, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Apparently you can do it at Trader Joes, Whole Foods in Pasadena, Town & Country Liquors in Fullerton, A&J liquor in Covina, and (he thinks) Vendome liquor in Yorba Linda.

Also not quite sure how big of a selection any of these places have.

I know of alot of places in So Cal that will sell singles. I'm not sure if Beverages & More will do it though. That would be awesome.

No bevmo doesn't, but do you know any places in the Inland Empire that do and have a large selection of beers? Places around Diamond Bar, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont, Glendora, Ontario.................. thanks for any info.

Not much help here, but I think that buying "mixer sixers" is the way to go. Why don't more places allow you to do this?

as we were talking about in another thread, bevmo at least says its against their liscence. But it really is the best way.

Then let' em lose your business. I'm sure there are several stores out there that will let you do what you want.

yeah I am looking for those "other" stores, but in the meantime, BevMo is still cool.

Based on their reviews on BA - San Dimas Liquors and Trader Joe's of San Dimas both allow you to buy singles/break up sixers:

Mix a Six (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beerfly/list?path=%2Fbeerfly%2Flist&sort=name&name=&city=san+dimas&s_id=CA&c_id=&zip=&area=&submit=+search+&store=Y)

Cheers!

Might not be absolutely true. I'd try another cashier next time. Sometimes it really depends on who you are asking. Probably worth another try.

i know mike down at Hi Time Wine Cellars (http://www.hitimewine.com/) will let you mix 'em, and if you have'nt been there yet (it's in costa mesa) then you should do yourself a solid and stop in when you get a chance, that place it great! it's worth at least one visit just to say you've been there. it's quite a drive for me but i still make it every other month or so.

also, i think sam over at La Bodega (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beerfly/user_reviews/1770/) in riverside will let you mix them , but there's not much at la bodega that you wont find over at liquorama or bevmo, but if you want to mix i think he'll let you, he'll proly just charge you by the bottle. if you plan on going out there to try it i would call first , just to confirm, ask for sam.
cheers
