This is a great book and there are a lot of good beers in here to look at and that are rated.

But something I saw brought up a question on here that I have wondered about.

Anyone know why Coors Original beer would get a 2 out of 4 stars while Budweiser would get only 1 out of 4 stars?

I have wondered why he would rank Coors above Bud?

Thanks

All I can say is that Coors never gave me a headache like Bud does... and really, it's not all THAT bad. There's simply nothing special about it at ALL. Boring, run of the mill average American Light Lager - except for that pure, crystal clear Rocky Mountain Spring Water. Would you rather have your beer come out of the Rockies, or out of the Mississippi? Come on now... I've SEEN the color of that river...

If ever faced with that choice, and I have been, I'd go with the Coor's.

You have to keep in mind that MJ rates beers on a purely objective level and based on the style. I guess he just thinks Coors original is a better example of the American Light Lager (AHA members, don't jump on me here - I don't recall the exact category title) style than Bud is.
