I'd like to see Full Moon Pale Rye Ale from Real Ale Brewing in Texas get on the list. I doubt many people would have had this brew, but man is it good - I wish I had more of it. In fact everything I've had from Real Ale Brewing is good.

I know both Ommegang and Great Lakes have been represented in the past. Ommegang had their Abbey Ale and GLBC had Edmund Fitz Porter and Eliot Ness Vienna Lager.

I've submitted nominations for "local" favorites:
-Magic Hat Thumbsucker
-Smuttynose IPA
-Thomas Hooker Liberator Doppelbock

Would love to see Moylan's Moylander Double IPA, too.

Cheers!

I submitted Great Divide Hercules DIPA, Bell's Two-Hearted, and Left Hand Oak Aged Imperial Stout. All new beers for me this past year.

New beers get a little harder to find each year for me.
I usually find something new when I travel.
I've been impressed with the Heavy Seas line from Clipper
City esp. the Saison & Uber Pils
Whale's Tale pale from Martha's Vineyard
3 Floyds Imperial IPA
Heavyweight : Baltus,Lunacy

Whale's Tale Pale Ale is from Cisco on Nantucket - not the Vineyard. If ever on the Vineyard, be sure to pay Offshore Ale Co. a visit. Matt (knoabrewer on BA) is a hell of a brewer.

Cheers!

i nominated Stoudt's Blonde Double Maibock. It's absolutely fantastic! It comes at 7% and if your not carefull will definately knock you on your arse. It's just so tastey that you would never guess it was that strong. So, if you are anywhere near PA, try to find some.

Have you ever visited the Stoudt's brewery? Nice place. Great beer and now they are bottling their own with a new bottling line. Also the Black Angus restaurant that Ed and Carol own is also very good and is attached to the brewery. I also recommend attending some of their microbrewers invitational festivals. The next one is in June and I believe the tix go on sale in April. I have not checked for sure.

I can't BELIEVE there weren't enough votes for 90 Shilling to even get it onto the list of 64! See for yourself. (http://www.realbeer.com/battleofthebeers/index.php)
