I used to be, just didn't have the time to keep up any more. Still have somee friends involved, and I believe Kalleh from the board signed up in order to osupport the Real Ale Fest/Insurgence in the Chi area. Unfortunately for the RAF, Richie Dailey isn't a member. http://www.chibeer.org/

Where in the Chicago area are you Blatant? I know of a few other home-brew clubs around too.

Northwest side -- West Logan Square essentially, near Belmont and Pulaski. Any info on brewclubs around there would be most appreciated. I don't currently have wheels.

Hmm, sounds like CBS might be best for you. I think their site has links to other clubs too, but I know a lot of the "Brewers on the Bluff" in Lake Bluff, and there's a south side group that's supposed to be pretty good, but since you're right in the city...

And the CBS meets one night a month at The Maproom, not far from you if you want to get a "taste" of how they are.
