Does anyone have any info on locations in Kansas / Missouri that might be participating?

"The Association of Brewers, which organized the first American Beer Month in July of 2000, has rolled out a slogan for ABM 2003: "Discover the Flavors of Independence." We expect that the fourth edition of this celebration will be bigger than ever. As in the past, Realbeer.com will have plenty of stories about the tradition and innovation of American brewing.

Again, we'll organize American Beer Month Challenge Cup II, July 22-24 in bars and brewpubs across the country.

We'll also happily collect information about events across the country."

We don't have anybody in that area yet. Would you rather see it be a multi-tap like Barley's or a brewpub like Free State?

Not that we won't try to see if we can get both involved ...

that is a tough call - (ideal would be both)

multi-tap would be good if it was a Barley's (but not an Old Chicago type place)

brewpub like 75th street brewery would be nice as well??

There is a brewpub in Leavenworth, KS as well, and the head brewer posts here frequently - just an FYI on that one.
