Does anybody know if there is a Homebrew IRC Chat channel out there somewhere?

HBD has a web page with a Java applet that connects to the IRC and drops you into a homebrew channel (#hbd chat). You can view this by going to thier site [HERE (http://hbd.org/)]. when you get to the home page and look to the list of links going down the left side. Near the bottom end of this list is IRC Chat.

I made #beer in IRC. So far I am the only one it. Hopefully more people will join.

for those that may be interested irc is a live chat program. you can download a free version of the program here http://www.mirc.com/

once you have it installed and you are connected you can type /join #beer to join the channel.

I believe you need to have the mirc app I do not know how to connect through a web page.

can't /join #beer for some reason...is sorcery.net just really slow tonight or is there a problem with the channel? just curious.

It shows that you are in it. but you dont answer. seen you come and go twice.

What happens when you try to join?

try using irc.sorcery.net or one of the other servers in the list
