Join TasteDC as we taste over 150 artisanal small production and hand-crafted beers from all over the world! TasteDC held our 1st International Beer Fest in 2002 and sold out with over 500 attendees! We have a fantastic line-up of both local importers and
international producers who take great pride in their beers: high quality ingredients, highly-trained brewers who show attention to detail and smaller production create very high quality. It's amazing to taste the variety of flavors one can get from the combination of only 4 ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water. As much as I hate to say it I'm not over thrilled by that line up. The British beers probably won't be cask and there's nothing very unique or that can't be got regularly in the area. Maybe if the brewers were going to be there it'd be worth a flyer.

I have to agree, personally... not too much there that's not readily available, especially for $50. BUT, it would be IDEAL for a person who was just getting their feet wet with microbrews or imports.

I've seen this on DC beer as well. It would make a difference if we could get some beers from outside the usual suspects. I'm guessing the local wine crowd will get their beer feet wet here.

Sounds interesting, but for fifty bucks I'd like to see more than a three hour event - hate to rush a tasting.
