Hey there MN Beer Fans,

Tickets are now on sale for the 4th annual Winterfest Celebration.
Tickets can be purchased @ Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis and/or
@ Great Waters Brewing in St. Paul for $25 a ticket - cash only purchase.

This years' Festival is sponsered by the MN Craft Brewer's Guild and features the Winter/Big Beers from Minnesota Brewers. It is a great fest that invites brewers to dig deep in the cellar and bring out all that special and vintage beer, along with your old favorites.

Live jazz music brings a great atmosphere to life while you sip from your commemorative tasting glass that you'll get @ the door.

Where: The St. Paul College Club (990 Summit Ave), that's right in the mansion next door to the Governor's residence.

When: Saturday, Feb. 19 6:30-9:30pm. Tickets have sold out all of the first three years and we predict the same this year. Don't wait to long........

Who: Pouring beers will be...

Fitger's Brewhouse - Duluth

Lake Superior Brewing - Duluth

Granite City - St. Cloud

O'Haras Brewpub - St. Cloud

BrauHaus Pub - Lucan

Bandana Brewing - Mankato

Great Waters - St. Paul

Summit Brewing - St. Paul

Hops - Maple Grove

Barley John's Brewpub - New Brighton

Finnegan's - Minneapolis

Rock Bottom - Minneapolis

Town Hall - Minneapolis

and up to 6 more added?

Cheers!

Yep, got em!

Looking forward to it.
Although I think parking is going to be a big hassle.
Summit and Grand Ave on a Saturday night? Yikes!

Got to go to town Hall a year and a half ago while playing in Minn, MN. Great porter they had there, and their Prohibition Root Beer was similarly excellent. :)

Got an email today from Barley John's that stated next years Winterfest will have double the number of tickets. This is a good thing, as I too missed out on the opportunity to attend this fine event, as I have in years past.

(And, yes, this is my first post in about six or seven months! I took a job that was not conducive to posting on line at work and with 2 kids at home under the age of 3, I find myself occupied most every second of the day. As it turns out, I got layed off last week and am now at home full time looking for gainful employment. Any breweries/brewpubs out there looking for a guy with an MBA, 15 years experience in manufacturing management and a passsion for great beer? ;) )

Dave, there's a new brewery in town, try Surly... http://www.surlybrewing.com/index.php dunno if they're hiring, but they may be needing help in the future...
