I'm currently having a first taste of a strong ale I recently brewed and I'm falling over myself on only one stubby.
Give this a try:
Muntons Export Pilsner
Light Dry Malt 1kg
Honey 300g
Dextrose 500g
Saaz Hops 25g (10 min boil)
Safale Yeast
14 Days in fermenter
Orig SG 56 - Final SG 10 = 7%
Its only been in the bottle three weeks but so far tastes as you would expect a 7% ale but isn't so alcohol bitter, has a nice hop aroma and taste with a slight sweet hint from the honey.
I will be doing this again soon.
