Right now, I am into Rolling Rock.

I had a friend who drank Rolling Rock because he liked Rock 'n' Roll, and thought it was appropriate. And it was... for someone like him. Not the sharpest pencil in the drawer...

RR is what I drank for years.

Hey, color me bad but I actually still like it on occasion.

I drank a ton of Rolling Rock when I was in college, still young and full of juice. It was considered top of the line back then to us shave-tails. You learn, you grow...

I recall going through a Rolling Rock phase about 12 years ago, and I drank it almost exclusively for a few months. It was one of the first beers that I'd tried in College that I thought tasted "different" from BMC - it was very dry. As a matter of fact, getting into "dry" beers was definitely a precursor to discovering better beer (I was drinking Sam Adams and Great Lakes within a year or so), and I drank alot of Kokanee (Western Canadian Labatt's) for a while as well - also very dry.

I can't remember the last time I drank a Rolling Rock or Kokanee - it's probably been at least 7 or 8 years.

I wouldn't clean my toilet bowl with rolling rock (it's about as effective as piss. I wonder why...).

Agreed. Rolling rock is no better than BMC in my book.

I probably wouldn't either, but I still have a soft spot for it. I wouldn't drink it unless my life depended on it these days, but back in college....

Actually, I recall swilling RR in cans playing drunk golf in college. Ugh...

Although I don't really care for RR, I do have some fond memories of it back from the college days. There was a bar near Rochester, NY that served the 7-ounce splits by the ice-filled case to your table. Those were some quality benders (not sure that I could handle a hangover of that magnitude anymore tho...)

I kind of got into a little RR spell this past year, especially in the late spring and summer. About halfway into my third 6 pack of the season, I suddenly got turned off by it and never drank it again. The last 3 bottles went down the sink.

He kinda looks like the love child between Tom Petty and John Lennon.

I thought it was Owen Wilson. But then, that could be the same answer as Stod's...

George - we don't want to scare you away, we really enjoy teaching people about the benefits of good beer. And we all get ribbed once in a while, right Bruno? Right Bruno?

I'm not sure if there's a George at all. Do a search on the name and it comes up in tons of message boards. Might just be an internet gag. Though snopes.com had nothing on the name.

For some reason, I never though RR would get cold enough to drink. Don't know why.
When people mention corn being used as an adjunct in beer, I think of Rolling Rock.

Latrobe, PA. Home of Rolling Rock. Nothing wrong with a few Rocks every now and then. Good lawnmower beer.

Cheers!

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I'm not into it.

Said throwing, not blowing - no machinery but me own arms involved! ;)

Hah. Maybe, but I have my own garage - no kitchen-furniture-reservations required! ;)
