well after nearly a year away from brewing and chatting on here I'm back. My youngest of 3 is now 9 months old (no wonder I haven't Been brewing) But I haven't stopped collecting beer equipment.
So here's what I've collected in the last year

3 sanke kegs
3 corny kegs
complete kegerator kit including fridge
next week I'll brew a new years batch
I'm glad to be back

welcome back! what's your plans for the Sankeys? I'd cut the tops off, put some weldless fittings in them, and go all grain...

Hey TJ, we've got a brew club around southbend/mishawaka/elkhart that meets once a month.

We've been going for about a year now, and have had some really good meetings. Membership is a little feable right now, and we'd love to have some new members. We usually get together second sunday of the month at a members house. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you some information on our next meeting.

Thats my plan for the Kegs all grain

I have a buddy who owns a weld shop in South Bend and he wants some of my beer so I'll use a Plasma torch and cut the tops off

what do you guys think of My Idea to Build My all grain set up out of Heavy aluminum SQuare tubing I work at Monaco Coach In Wakarusa and I can get the stuff at near cost

TJ, couple of hints before you plasma cut the kegs... first, release all the pressure, jam a screwdriver into the ball. (and prepare for a beer shower, unless you have a Sankey tap you can use to release the pressure...) second, fill it 1/4 or more full of water, it will keep any slag from welding itself to the bottom of your keg...

I'm sure aluminum tubing will work (especially if it's main purpose is for an RV), but ask your experts about how it holds up to heat, because you'll get a lot of it... I built mine out of an old cart and square steel tubing, if you're looking for some ideas to steal, check out my pics (http://home.comcast.net/~dan-pam/wsb/html/view.cgi-photos.html-.html)... (and in the spirit of our new year's resolution for less needless thread hijacking, if you have any questions about my setup, I'd be more than happy to chat via PM's...)
